Looks like RP Select Boys have merged with Andromeda.
The Select Girls and Academy teams are currently independent as there have not yet been talks about merging at this time.

Here is the most recent update as we know it... Andromeda's benefactor came through... So, the current plan is... Andromeda will pay for the Lucas facility for 2 years and we will continue the Academy as it has been going for at least 2 years. The merger will be a 2 year project. This should be plenty of time to really make a lot of progress. Riverplate has given contract to Andromeda, and now waiting on response from Andromeda... Some teams have started to practice at Andromeda while others continue in Lucas, Custer/Renner & McKinney.
Most decisions, at least on Academy level are discussed and decided on a team-by-team basis as the Academy is not part of the contract.
Please, please, please call us if you have any questions or concerns. Josema - 214-674-1378 or Juan-469-231-1057 . Please let us know if we need to have a parents meeting to visit and go over questions and concerns...
If we seriously think about this, this is a huge double bonus for everyone! Andromeda will finally get to add amazing coaches to their coaching staff and with the merger, RP & Andromeda will be able to build the club that Josema has envisioned for his teams. The plan is that Josema will go into Andromeda and "Riverplate" it... Josema will have more time to focus on coaching since he won't be spending countless amounts of time and energy on the fields...
It is not figured out yet when the merger will start, but the idea is that this is a 2 year project and that everyone wants to move slowly and carefully so that everyone can get the most benefit from.
No matter what happens, we will continue with our long term plan for the teams/players and coaches in the Academy, continuing to re-evaluate seasonally, so as not to become stagnant but grow and improve.
